We’re Giving Away 100 Hours of Web Development to Deserving Nonprofits!

Giving back is incredibly important to us which is why we make it a priority to participate in #GivingTuesday each year. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that takes place on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. This is our third year participating and we want to make the biggest impact we possibly can. This year, we will be donating time to help nonprofits with their web presence. We know that it can be cumbersome to update and maintain a website, and often times the website maintenance goes to the bottom of the priority list.  Organizations can apply to receive up to 10 hours of free website development ($1000 value) to assist with their charitable efforts. We have a goal of giving away 100 total hours which is valued at $10,000.00.

Interested parties should fill out our online application. You will be contacted via email prior to November 27th, 2018 if your nonprofit is selected. Priority will be given to small, volunteer-based organizations and organizations that are local to NorthEast Ohio. However, all are encouraged to apply. If you have a larger project or are not sure how long it will take, we can let you know if it can be accomplished within the 10-hour limit. We want to dive in and help as many causes as we can, so please speak with all decision makers and be ready to go before you apply.

Here are some ideas on how to utilize your free website development hours. Due to the limited amount of time available, these hours cannot be used to create a new website from scratch.

  • Content updates
  • Page speed optimization
  • Migrating to a new website host
  • Accepting online donations
  • Hacked website cleanup
  • Updating software versions
  • Adding new pages
  • SSL certificate installation
  • Adding an events calendar
  • New website functionality
  • Search engine optimization
  • Website accessibility
